What We Teach

 Students and stewarding

Chalkboard Financial covers an array of topics all focused to the student, creating a fresh perspective on effective financial goal setting and sure- fire ways to reach desired outcomes. We cover budgeting, PYF,  investing and savings, debt and credit.

core values and career guidance

As young adults navigate through the last years of high school, identity and purpose are immensely huge factors  that are overlooked and inhibit many as they walk through these years. Offering perspective shifts, conversations and connection allow young people to gain new confidence with where they are and most importantly, who they are.

breakout sessions, journaling and connection

Our tried and true techniques help young people with practical living in real time! Ideas to jump start building new $ habits and ways to improve networking and understanding who they are, for God’s purpose.

History

Currently located near Harrisburg, PA, Chalkboard Financial was founded by Elisabeth Aragon.
Leaving the third person narrative, I had started Chalkboard Financial, living in California, after the financial meltdown in 08.

As marriage, kiddos and relocation with my husbands company have since changed my life; my passion for wanting to help young people achieve a financial success has not, and come from my own experience.

After high school, I merrily strolled along to college acquiring student loans, credit cards and other debt. I wasn’t living frivolously, but the lack of understanding in goal setting, budgeting & planning, and the naive thinking after college I’d get a “real” job and be able to afford everything, not only left me broke after graduation, but the harsh reality of #paymentdue came crashing in.

As a Christian and member of Lifeway Church, I feel I have been called to serve young people in walking with them as they navigate finances and finding their purpose .  With the Bible referencing finances over 2300 times, and 11 of the 39 parables talking about finances, it is imperative we guide our young people so they are Equipped to Impact!
